Any bike repair job undertaken

No matter what your steed needs, our experienced team can take care of it; from truing your wheels to fitting new disc brake pads.

Suspension

Suspension units require regular care and attention in order for you to be able to get the full benefit from them. It is therefore absolutely essential that you have your suspension forks and rear shocks serviced every 3-12 months (dependent on use).

Due to the highly specialist nature of the work and the huge number of parts required all suspension servicing is carried out by a specialist contract service team. Your fork/shock needs to be booked in for its work – this can be done by calling 01922 411180. We will advise you of the timescales for the work including time for shipping to/from

If you would prefer for one of our mechanics to remove your shock or fork from your bike there will be a charge of £25 for removing and fitting and for storing the bike whilst the unit is being serviced

The service includes:

  • Comprehensive pre-service test
  • Cleaning of the unit
  • Full strip down
  • Inspection of internal parts
  • Replacing all seals as necessary
  • Re-building with new oil/lubricant
  • Re-pressurisation of air forks
  • A comprehensive post-service test
  • Your fork will then be returned along with any replaced parts (for your inspection) and a technical report detailing the work undertaken.

Should any other parts need replacing (such as bushings) then there will be no further labour charge and only a charge for the additional parts. We will contact you for permission before fitting any additional parts.
