H4L Limited T/A Bridgtown Cycles is the company name for three trading websites, Bridgtown Cycles, Bike-Fit and Tavistock E-Bikes.

H4L Limited T/A Bridgtown Cycles is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If we ask you to provide information that could be used to identify you we will only use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

What data we collect and why

In order to process orders we will request your personal details, such as name, address, email address, telephone number. Email address and telephone number are requested so that we can contact you in the event of a problem with your order. We pass these details to our courier partners so that they can deliver your order to you in a convenient manner.

We do not collect debit or credit card information. For all online purchases this information is entered through a secure payment gateway provided by our online banking partners, and we do not have access to the data. We do not keep nor have access to credit or debit card details. This is to provide complete reassurance to our customers when completing an online transaction and it is not neccessary with our online payment processor.

We have technical partners with whom we share data to process credit and debit card payments and provide a range of services, including for fraud protection purposes. They are bound by Data Protection covenants and must process the personal information in accordance with Data Protection Laws.

We also engage with PayPal for collecting payments. Similarly, PayPal is also bound by Data Protection covenants and must process the personal information in accordance with Data Protection Laws.

We do not share any customer details, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses etc. with any third party groups. We respect the complete privacy of our customers.

Controlling your personal information

We require the basic information outlined above to accept and fulfil your order, although you may decline to enter a telephone number, in which case our only method of contacting you will be by email.

If you set up an account with us specifying a 'sign in' email and password you will not be required to enter your address and other details next time you shop. In your account you can set or reset your preference for receiving our email newsletter using a tick box.

If you have previously consented to receiving email communication from us you can also stop this by clicking the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the email or by contacting us at shop@btownbikes.com

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties with the following exceptions:

Details regarding your transaction will be monitored by Google in accordance with their own Certified Shops Privacy Policy, and they may contact you to discuss your shopping experience with Bridgtown Cycles.
The confirmation email you receive after placing an order may be forwarded to Trustpilot, who may contact you shortly after placing the order to ask for Feedback on the service at Bridgtown Cycles. Trustpilot are bound by the data protection act and they will not use your email address for anything other than this singular purpose. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. To request a copy of the information held on you please email us at shop@btownbikes.com If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email us as soon as possible. In order to be able to offer you Klarna’s payment options, we will pass to Klarna certain aspects of your personal information, such as contact and order details, in order for Klarna to assess whether you qualify for their payment options and to tailor the payment options for you.
